Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance Committee meets on a quarterly basis, or as needed, for the purposes of evaluating program performance against established benchmarks and to explore strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. Independent Home Care, Inc. recognizes the relationship between training and continuous quality improvement; therefore, ongoing training is provided and mandated for all staff members to further refine their understanding of disabilities, improve the quality of their job performance and ensure the continuing efficiency and effectiveness of the services being offered. We conduct regular consumer surveys and engage in a continuous development of people process that measures the skills, competencies, efficiency, receptivity and reliability of direct service staff, the quality of care, the effectiveness of operational processes, and the necessity for additional supports.
